A youth-based session with focus on the harm caused by crime and conflict and what needs to happen to make things better or right, as well as future decision making. Focused Victim Empathy session addressing healthy relationships, anger and alcohol for low risk level offenses. Offers a community and victim perspective. May be used in conjunction with other referrals, or as a multiple-session treatment plan.
Also addressing Underage Possession of Tobacco and Vaping products: Provides education, awareness, self-assessment and strategies to reduce the risk associated with tobacco/nicotine consumption by youth. Utilizes the CHOICES curriculum. Appropriate for incidents where possession and/or purchase of tobacco by a minor led to confiscation or citation. Focuses on future choices, responsibility, and potential health risks.
