Kids First: Parenting Class

Course Overview

St. Croix Valley Restorative Services offers a one-time, two-hour parenting class for families navigating divorce or separation. This court-approved class meets the requirements of WI Statute 767.115 and is available to families throughout western Wisconsin, including Pierce, St. Croix, and surrounding counties.

Divorce and separation can be stressful and confusing for children. This class helps parents understand how family transitions can impact children and provides practical tools for supporting their well-being throughout the process.

Parents will learn strategies for managing conflict, communicating more effectively, supporting cooperation between parents, and responding to their children’s needs with a calm and consistent approach. The goal is to help reduce the impact of parental conflict on children and create a more stable and supportive environment during times of family transition.

A Certificate of Completion will be provided directly to each participant upon successful completion of the course.
